Jagua, like Henna, is natural and temporary but stains a black color instead of the brown/red color of henna. The color can be a bit blue to a dark black and looks more like a permanent tattoo. It starts out a very light color then darkens over the next few days. It’s a fruit from Amazonian countries where it grows on very tall trees. There are many reasons to get a Jagua tattoo.
Jagua is 100% natural fruit juice. You may want to avoid Jagua if you have eczema or psoriasis as fruit juice can contribute to a flare up. If you’d like to read more visit our FAQ page and the History of Jagua on our website.
