Why get a Jagua tattoo?
By: Krysteen ~ 4/5/2017

JaguaTattooMarch2017.jpgJagua, like Henna, is natural and temporary but stains a black color instead of the brown/red color of henna.  The color can be a bit blue to a dark black and looks more like a permanent tattoo.  It starts out a very light color then darkens over the next few days.  It’s a fruit from Amazonian countries where it grows on very tall trees. There are many reasons to get a Jagua tattoo.

  • Check out how a permanent tattoo might look.  You can put Jagua any place you can Henna. It’s a great way to sure you’ll like the permeant placement or design.
  • It works very well on darker skin. Sometimes henna is a bit light for medium to darker skinned individuals but Jagua is very dark and will show up on most skin tones.
  • Pull one over on your friends.  Tell them it’s permanent and let them freak out!
  • Try something new!  If you’ve only done henna in the past, be bold! Jagua is beautiful as a tribal or tattoo style design.

Jagua is 100% natural fruit juice. You may want to avoid Jagua if you have eczema or psoriasis as fruit juice can contribute to a flare up.  If you’d like to read more visit our FAQ page and the History of Jagua on our website.
