Lately, I’ve had an abundance of opportunity to share special moments with my clients as they get a henna or jagua tattoo that means something powerful to them. It’s a blessing when a person is willing to share with you the joys as well as the hardships they are facing in life. Usually, when a person has decided to mark an occasion with a henna or even a permanent tattoo, they have come to a place of triumph, freedom or acceptance and are ready to embrace or, perhaps, move on and let go.
I have engaged with people over the loss of loved ones, through death and miscarriage. I have been told stories of diagnosis and treatments. Others have harbored injury and eating disorders. There have been clients who are coming out 
of a very dark journey, ready to embrace a new way to live. I have sat with people who are ending significant burden full relationships and those that were embarking on their first true love, convinced they had meet their soul mates. Many are celebrating the passages that we all go through, pregnancy, marriage or graduation.
During all of these times I lend my ear and create a beautiful design for them that can mark this passage of time. One, I know, they’ll be looking at over the next several weeks and remembering the new place in life they find themselves. I feel honored to be sharing this moment with them. Weather, we already knew each other or are meeting for the first time, we should enhance each others lives while we’re together. Thank you for the opportunity to do this.
