Do you want an easy way to influence the physical, emotional and spiritual energies of your body? Try doing Mudra! Mudra is about creating different postures from mostly the hands to heal the body. It comes from the East, and was mostly used by spiritual leaders in Hindu Dharma and Buddha Dharma. More modern uses of Mudra are found in yoga and meditation practices.
Some examples may look like:
Both Mudra and Henna have focuses on healing and with the right symbols the two can complement one another. For example, some Mudra may improve your creativity, memory, and knowledge, and can also bring clarity to thoughts to prevent Insomnia. Pairing these hand postures with the Sanskrit symbol for healing, clarity, or knowledge in henna may boost your spiritual power to heal.
Other ideas may include using symbols like the spiral which means change and accepting that change. By incorporating this into an elegant hand design and finding a Mudra that helps boost your healing properties to accepting the change going on in your life, they can work together to best help you.
Henna even has its own healing properties and is done with the intent that it would bring good fortune, good feeling, happy beginnings and happy endings. Henna is used to bring about spiritual and material wealth, luck and protection. By including designs that focuses on the specific things you need healed or protected, Henna and Mudra together become very beneficial.
Other symbols that would be helpful to incorporate:
❖ Eye: Wisdom, prosperity, spiritual protection and good health
❖ Moon: Enhance feminine energy, protection and health. Fertility, the power of change, good luck and psychic abilities
❖ Lotus: Symbol of regeneration. Of rising from the mud and the muck into something lovely. Purity, harmony, and an opening of the heart.
❖ Sun: Resurrection and renewal.
❖ Yin/Yang: Balance, dualities, interconnectedness, and the link between natural opposites.
❖ Feather: Truth, order and justice.
Also, Mandalas like Mudras are meditative symbols, so using a mandala on the top or bottom of the hand will increase these properties.
