KrysteenThis month we treated the elementry school kids at the A.C.E. Language Program. They are learning Arabic and other middle eastern languages. On July 15th they took a break and learned a little about the culture of those countries through henna! We talked about why and when people do henna, the traditions, other things henna might be used for and some of the meanings of traditional designs. We finished up with sample henna designs for everyone! Three different classes! It was a blast! Thank you A.C.E. for including us in your school activities. We look forward to doing it again next year.
