Mehndi Party
By: Krysteen Lomonaco ~ 8/13/2014

Are you just looking for an excuse to have a henna party?  What about a sleepover, girls night in, or a book club meeting? Here are some great ideas on how to incorporate henna tattoos into all these! Great for all ages and they will be talked about for years to come.

Yoga Party: Is your BFF a yoga instructor? Lucky you!  Do you and your friends need some R&R? Throw a yoga party! Yoga instruction videos can be found on netflix, hulu, or RedBox.  This is great for first time yogis; you won't feel so silly twisting your body up like a pretzel when you're around friends! Afterwards, pamper each other with aromatherapy, facials, hot tea and of course some mehndi! Some symbols you can use to reflect the yoga theme are: Lotus flower, Chakra symbols, Ohm symbol, or the Hamsa Hand.

Bollywood Night: This is a great girl's night in theme. Watch some Indian Bollywood movies- and get ready to be blown away! This genre is very over the top in production, musical numbers, and story lines. Most of them have a romantic element, the epitome of the term “Chick Flick”. Have some fun after the movie by ordering in Indian food and find some how to videos on Bollywood dance routines. Since Bollywood movies originated in India, it would only be fitting you hire a Mehndi Madness henna artist to create some Indian mehndi designs. Add that Bollywood glam with rhinestones and glitter glue.

Book Club: If you are part of a book club or want to start one of your own, what better way to talk about your book then to get yourself some henna! Research some symbols that represent the theme(s) of the book like courage, wisdom, strength, friendship and love. Incorporate these symbols in your mehndi design so that you can remember the book's message.  You'll have the most popular book club in town!

Come up with your own party themes and tell us how you've incorporated henna into it! We love to hear the creative things our fans come up with.   Please post your comments on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mehndimadnesshenna
